Random 7
If you play some of the Premium variants in Advanced Mode (like Premier Roulette for example), you may also see a Call Bet called “Random 7”.
We’re not going to spend much time explaining this one, as it’s pretty obvious! This is a kind of “Lucky Dip” bet that you’d do on the lottery. Seven chips are placed randomly for you, normally in a combination of straight up bets and split bets (so you’ll invariably cover more than 7 numbers on the wheel).
Why 7? Well, 7 is a lucky number for many people. I suppose they could have gone for “Lucky 8”, which is a very lucky number as well, especially for Chinese players (The Chinese word for “eight” – Pinyin: bā resembles the word for “wealth”).

Why is the Number 7 Lucky?
And why do people think that the number 7 is lucky? Well, it’s a “magical” or “complete” number in many cultures and countries.
If you think about it, this is a pretty special number. There are 7 days in the week, 7 colours in a rainbow, Seven Seas, Seven Continents and Seven Heavens! Plus, there were 7 hills in Rome, and the number seven was thought of as a number of the Gods in ancient Egypt. The Pharaoh would order things in groups of 7. For a while, Egyptians would not even write the number 7 for fear of punishment by the Gods.
7 is also an important number in Buddhism, to the Chinese (although 8 is seen as luckier- see above), to the Greeks and in the Old Testament (the 7 days of creation). In Japan, the Seven Lucky Gods are the 7 gods of good fortune in Japanese mythology. It’s not an ordinary number! Does that mean you are more likely to win your roulette bets if you bet on 7, 17, or 27, or make a Random 7 bet? No! But you are as likely, and that doesn’t stop people favouring the number 7.
