Match Bonus
The roulette bonus that you are most likely to see from online casino sites is the match bonus.
These offers top up your bankroll when you make a deposit. If you purchase chips to play with, they will “match” your purchase with a percentage which is often 100% (they will double your chips), but may go up to 300% (deposit 100 play with 400) and even higher.
Casinos tend to prefer these offers, as it involved you making a purchase (ass opposed to no deposit roulette bonuses, and free hour promos). See blow for a more detailed look at the pros and cons of this kind of bonus.

A More Detailed Look at Roulette Match Bonuses.
Well, we have said this before for other types of bonus offers, and we’ll say it again for roulette match bonuses. Always check the terms and conditions- decent casinos should have a clear link to the T’s and C’s off their promotions page. (If they don’t, avoid the bonus anyway).
Remember, you don’t need to take the bonus. Sometimes it’s better not to if you are a roulette casino, to be honest, as many casinos skew their terms to slots players. Casino.com, for example, offers a big bonus (£3200 over 8 deposits), but when you read the terms and conditions, it turns out that you can’t meet them playing roulette- you have to play slots.
Having said that, some casinos run very good match bonuses for roulette players. We list some of those sites here on onlineroulette.org.uk. Check that you can hit your play-through requirements playing roulette (Virgin Casino runs some pretty fair terms on this front).
These are the things you should be looking out for in the small print:
- What are the wagering requirements, is how many times do you have to play through the bonus before you can withdraw your winnings?
- Do the wagering requirements apply to the bonus only or to the bonus plus the deposit? (generally speaking a x20 turnover requirement would be pretty good, and a x50 would be on the high side)
- Are there any restrictions on playing roulette to meet your wagering requirements? Generally, only a % of roulette bets will contribute (normally all your slots bets will).
- Are there any restrictions on what types of bets you can make (low risk bets where you cover 2/3 of the table might not contribute, for example).
