Amaya European Roulette
Here is another online European Roulette variant- this one is from Amaya gaming and is well designed (one other option for you is Next Gen European Roulette). The nice thing about this game is that you can choose your table maximum before you head in to the full game (from a minimum of 100 to a maximum of 500). This variant plays La Partage where you get half of your bet back if you lose an evens bet like red or black, when the ball drops in the zero. So like a French roulette game, but the bets are in English!
You can change the game view from full wheel view to small wheel/big betting table view.
Once you head in to the game, you´ll notice that you have plenty of room to place your bets, as the view is mostly table (there´s a racetrack at the top so that you can make Voisins bets and Tiers du Cylindre). Click on the Switch Views button to change the relative size of the betting layout and the roulette wheel.
You can save up to 20 custom bets (just press the Save Bet button). They can be accessed from the Saved Bets drop down at the bottom left of the game. You´ll also notice that there is a drop down for more special bets like Zero Game, Orphelins Plein, Orphelins Cheval plus the Finale Plein and Finale Cheval bets.
One of the things we find a little annoying, however, is that you have to click on the “New Game” button at the end of each spin. Some players might like this I guess, as it safeguards you against spinning the wheel by mistake, but we find it a bit of a chore to press the button every time. An option to disable this would have been good. A small complaint!
Other Features
You can also repeat your bets at the end of each round. There is no Double Bet option which will disappoint Martingale roulette players. There is also a button for “Quick Spin” for turbo mode if you prefer to bet quickly without the wheel spinning every time.
This is a great little roulette game that gets our vote because it plays La Partage on even money bets. This gives a Return To Player (RTP) or Payout of 98.65%
NB: Return-to-Player percentage (RTP) is a theoretical number arrived at by considering the game´s rules and payout. The RTP is an average and is based on many thousands of plays across multiple players.
